Award of Framework Agreements for Cyber Threat Intelligence Services

The Norwegian public sector cloud marketplace (MPS) has selected three suppliers to deliver cloud-based cyber threat intelligence (CTI) services. The agreement will be the latest addition to MPS's security portfolio, CyberX.

The suppliers are:

  • BitSight Technologies, Inc.
  • KPMG AS with Recorded Future
  • BAE Systems Applied Intelligence (International) Limited

The purpose of the framework agreements is to reduce risk associated with cyber threats in the Norwegian public sector. The solution will provide public entities with access to relevant intelligence (information and analysis) on cyber threats, and strengthen public entities' awareness and ability to understand and act on the information made available.

"This agreement is of particular interest to key IT and security environments as well as CERTs. The agreement will make a strong contribution to increasing organisations' resilience and security posture," says David Behrens, Project Manager at MPS.

The agreements apply to 418 public sector organisations and cover Software-as-a-Service (SaaS)-based solutions for cyber threat intelligence. The agreement has a duration of 2 years with the option to extend for up to 2 additional years, or until a maximum financial ceiling of NOK 250 million excluding VAT is reached.

We are now entering the standstill period, which will last 10 days before the agreement can be signed. Commencement will take place after the summer, and more information will follow.
